| Mapúaworld is a gathering of Mapúans from all over the world every two years. It started in 2000 wherein it was hosted by alumni from Ontario, Canada; in 2002 from Los Angeles, California and in 2004 from Vancouver, Canada. The next venue for this occasion will be held in the Philippines on January 17-20, 2007. This is the first time it will be held here in the Philippines. Its initial celebration here will feature the inauguration of the Mapúaworld Tower and the turnover of Mapuaworld emblem to the next host. The emblem is the token of the Institute to NAMA. |

Simultaneous Professional Development Seminars will be conducted in the morning of January 17, 2007. It will be participated in by students, faculty members and guests from different companies. Speakers will be selected MIT Alumni who are experts in their chosen engineering fields.

Unveiling of Mapuaworld Tower and Opening Ceremonies
Venue: Mapua Intramuros quadrangle (5pm to 6pm)

Meet and Greet and Evening Cocktails will be held in the MIT Gymnasium to let the Alumni mingle with all the Alumni present. A short program will be prepared to enliven the affair.

Golf Exhibition Game Venue: Tagaytay Highlands (Php 3,000 inclusive of green fee, caddy and meals) Tee Off time is 7am.

Corregidor Island trip (Php 2,300 / pax inclusive of guided island tour, round trip yacht transfer and buffet lunch)
Villa Escudero (Quezon) (Php 2,500 / pax inclusive of buffet lunch, welcome drink, entrance fee, museum tour, carabao cart ride, plantation village tour, use of resort facilities, and roundtrip transportation)
Pagsanjan Fall (Laguna) (Php 2,400 / pax inclusive of buffet lunch at Pagsanjan Rapids Hotel, boatride, use of cushion and lifevest and roundtrip transportation)

ACS Manufacturing Plant Visit in Cabuyao, Laguna. Transportation will be provided for Balikbayan alumni. Carpooling will be organized for Local alumni
(9am assembly time – Manila Hotel)
NAMA House (4pm) will also be visited at Tycoon Center in Ortigas, Pasig City after the ACS Plant visit.
Dinner (6pm) to be hosted by Engr. Al Supetran will follow.

Sportsfest: Basketball Exhibition Games - Mapua Intramuros gymnasium (12nn to 5pm)
Mall of Asia Tour. Pick up point will be at Manila Hotel at 10am. Transport will be provided.
On the culminating night of the MapúaWorld 2007 celebration, a Gala Night will be held at the Manila Hotel
